A human rights report has claimed Israeli defence forces sexually abused minors in the Palestinian territories.
The damning report has cited uncorroborated sexual abuse charges of Palestinian children who had been detained by the IDF.
One of the cases involved a Palestinian boy who claimed that IDF forces attempted to insert an object into him after he was arrested.
The boy claimed a dozen officers stood around laughing as the incident was occurring and only stopped when a superior officer intervened.
A human rights report by the group Defense of Children International, claims five Palestinian children were allegedly sexually abused by the Israeli army after being caught throwing stones at Israeli forces members.
While there is no hard evidence in the report, Israeli officials have responded by saying any claim regarding improper conduct by soldiers or police officers will be thoroughly examined.
The report claimed that the children had been held in contravention of the law.
It also charged that some boys underwent torture at the hand of Israeli forces.
