BA strike to go ahead after talks failure
    Russia Herald
    Thursday 11th March, 2010

There has been no agreement reached between British Airways and the Unite union.

Talks on averting strike action by cabin crew broke down on Wednesday without agreement.

With no further talks scheduled to be held, BA cabin crew will probably go on strike over the cuts and changes to their working conditions.

BA has said it is still open to further talks, but the next move from the Unite Union will be to announce strike dates.

The dates must be announced by Monday 15th March or the union's mandate for industrial action will run out.

Last month, 81% of BA cabin crew voted in favour of strikes.
